A strong work ethic pervades the company, with only the highest standards accepted in every job we undertake. This means McKenzies has an army of loyal clients, some of whom have been with the firm for 40 years; Glenn comments that we are now dealing with a third generation of clients, from families that started out with Ray.

“Our clients are our main priority,” says Glenn. “We follow up each job with a visit to see that all is well and that the client is happy with what we have done. We are always looking for ways to do things even better.”

Meanwhile, quoting for commercial projects is where Terry excels. Many of the large construction companies who build the major projects in the Nelson region are customers of McKenzies, where they have come to expect prompt and cost competitive quotes for exterior surfaces and interior finishes.
